(GNBDC), and the “Professional Ally Award” presented by Newark Essex Pride Coalition (NEPC).

In addition to receiving this regional business award, on Sunday, June 13 FEMWORKS was honored with the “2010 Professional Ally Award” presented by the Newark Essex Pride Coalition (NEPC). The Board of Trustees of NEPC presented this award to FEMWORKS for demonstrating service to the Greater Newark LGBTIQ community over an extended period of time, going beyond its typical scope of work and obtaining measureable achievements as a result of its service. The Community Impact Awards were a part of the week-long Newark Essex Pride festivities June 7-13, 2010.
